The connector plugin is small and does its maintenance work through the WordPress REST API, so it adds nothing to page loads for that, and monitoring requests come from outside your site. Optional visitor-facing features are the exception: switching on traffic analytics, live chat, the AI chatbot or the cookie consent banner adds a small script to the page.
